I have to agree with Dennis, the TSC stores just don't measure up to the old Quality Farm and Fleet. I'd be concerned about service too, and the better bet would be a craftsman in my opinion. If you're interested you can also look at one of the new John Deere L series, an L110 is within your price range at $1799. I have the L120 and am very well pleased with it.
