I did solve the problem....Here's what I did...But I don't recommend this... on the frame, somewhere, is a little black box approx. 1/2" x 1" rectangular (engagement sensor). On mine it was below the wiring behind the dash on the frame. 1 bolt holds in on the frame. It has three or four wires going to the connector that slips onto the prongs of this little sensor. I disconnected it and it worked fine. I beleive this box senses whether the deck is in position before the blade will engage. Let me know if this helps, Rino
