I know of two places in Oregon where you can order
the deck
If you have the manual and the serial # of the
lawnmower, I stumbled upon a google search on
Briggs and Stratton, who gave me a dealer search
and found two places that just happen to also be
parts dealers for the mtd lawn mowers
One is:
Oregon Small Engine
18435 S.W. Pacific HWY
Tualatin, OR. 97062
(503)691-6221
Troy and Judy are very resourceful and this
business just happens to be about 10 minutes from
the Briggs and Stratton warehouse!
I used this opportunity to get a gasket kit for my
riding lawn mower, later I got the deck linkages,
belts, and a blade pulley assembly.
The other is:
Bartlett's Marine & Mower
1929 23rd Ave
Forest Grove, OR. 97116
(503)357-9212
From Mike, I got a carburetor rebuild kit, and a
new grass chute, and a wealth of knowledge, like
year, cross over #'s from Montgomery Wards to TMO,
and tips.
Keep in mind that I am no a sales man in any way,
and I'm not affiliated in any way shape or form,
with these businesses, I'm just sharing a good
Experience from VERY knowledgeable people
