I am still experiencing the same original issues as detailed in my first post... The unit that I have is a single speed front tine tiller. To date, I have rebuilt most everything on it - most parts I have had to make - from the drive shaft bushings to an improvised belt tensioner (parts and springs from a local farm impliment dealer.) I am still trying to find a suitable set of seals for the tine shaft.
My recommendation is to completely disassemble the tiller, diagram it in the process, and then start to look for suitable replacement parts at a farm impliment dealer - something will require minor modifications from your local machine shop... kind of like restoring an old car - takes time and patience...
