In Reply to: Craftsman/Kolher Engine runs for 20 minutes then quits- Any thoughts posted by John on Tuesday, April 15, 2003:
I have the same problem with my Kohler engine. I changed the fuel filter and it ran fine all last summer. The filter now appears to only be about 1/4 full all the time. It cranks fine when cold and runs for about 20 minutes and then stops. Should the filter be completely full and could this be the problem? Mine is a Kohler 16.5 HP. Where would the coil be on this? Appreciate any help. Thanks
