I needed a new lawn tractor this spring to replace my trust JD 111, which I dearly loved.
I was really disappointed with the L series JD, which all looked flimsy compared to the 111, so, I committed adultry and looked at Huskees, Yardman, MTD, Craftsman, and others made by AYP. Talk about deja vu! They all seemed almost exactly like...like, well like the low end JD's! So, if the low end JD's aren't made by AYP, then JD made theirs a clone of the AYPs. 'Cause they're bloody darn near the same except for colors, even to having the same thicknesses of metal for the same parts.
