My 10 year old Craftsman lawn tractor with B&S 12.5HP engine seems to much run slower (lower RPM) under load (i.e. when blades are engaged) than when it was newer (only a slight RPM drop). I have adjusted the carburetor and idle speed control per the manual, and it still it bogs down when cutting even in thin grass. With wide open (rabbit) throttle it moves along in 3rd gear like it used to in 2nd. Any ideas?
