I've got a 2 acre lot, at least an 1.5 acres of grass, and don't have a mower. Not much in the way of trees (yet, I'll be digging holes when I'm not mowing this summer) but about a 1 to 3 slope on the sides of the septic field.
I want a mower that will last me at least 10 years. I know my basics, and then some. Not only all the options but the real manufacturers, etc...
Oh, and my wife's not going to let me spend much over 2 grand. (maybe $2500) We just bought the house over the winter, so money is tight, that and she pinches every penny. We'll spend more if its worth it in the long run.
Simplicity, John Deere, Husqvarna, Kubota, Airens, Craftsman, others? Love to hear some advice.
