10W30 is 30 weight oil with additives that allow it to flow more freely when cold. It can be used in place of 30W in any application. Contrary to what you might think, thinner oil protects much better than thicker as nearly all engine wear occurs during engine start.
I use Mobil 1 5W30 in all my small engines as some of them do get used in cold weather. Several of them are 10+ years old and all are in perfect condition.
