I wholeheartedly agree with you Ollie. I have a 1/2 acre to cut myself. My $.02 worth is that you need a good pushmower anyway and it actually takes less time to mow with just a push mower rather than a riding mower followed up by close cutting with a push mower. I personally have a high-wheeled push mower that mulches or bags clippings.
