You might want to look at the new John Deere L series. There are 4 of them within your budget I think. One thing about purchasing a Deere, is they have a "30 day promise", which means you can return the unit if not completley satisfied within the first 30 days for a full refund or trade on something else. You also have a 2 year warranty and dealer support and service. I just got the L120 and love it so far :). You can check them out at the following url. Good luck :)
