First Time buyer - looking for advice

Hi, so glad to find this forum ..my husband and I just bought a house with 1/2 acre and want to get a riding mower. Don't have a huge budget (under $2500 hopefully?) but don't want to get the cheapest either - it will be a good investment. The lot is level, so we don't need anything that has to go up and down inclines. If possible, I'd like it to perform several other functions - grass collection (we don't usually mulch), leaf-collection and mulching, and an attachment for snow removal, so that we can get rid of our snow blower - and easy to operate for me, so I can do it without my husband's help.. What's the best bang for the buck out there? Feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
