Thanks for the help -- after growing tired of the John Deere attitude (you should by a John Deere because it is a John Deere) I went ahead and bought a Simplicity. I hope I know what I am doing! The joke of it is that I actually spent more than I would have with JD (got a bigger unit) but I feel like I was treated well and given the due consideration a $6400 purchase deserves. The most I could get from JD was a scrawled number on the back of a business card. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
