Brian - The LX is a nice "lawn tractor". The GT is a nice "garden tractor". If you can afford the GT, go for it. The frame is larger and stronger. The tires are larger, which makes for a little smoother ride. Two acres does not seem like a lot to mow, until you've done it a few times. A 200 foot drive is rather long by some standards. The GT is going to handle pushing snow a bit better than the LX will. These are not facts, just my opinion. Nonetheless, I hope I've been helpful. - Dave
