I have been having problems with the trans on
my 175. It acts like it is slipping, or has some
kind of air lock in it. It goes foreward alright,
but has trouble backing and surges. This gets
worse as it warms up.

Can these be rebuilt? Or does anyone know where I
get a rebuilt one? John Deere wants more for one
than the tractor is worth.
