Thanks for the reply :) However, went and bought the Huskqvarna rider, 18hp 48" cut. For just a bit more dollas {~$2500}, larger deck and more powerful engine, w/ oil filtration too. If the 16h would have had more for it, would have loved to bought it instead... looks are much better that boring, regular rider... ;)

good thinkin' about doin that at Lowes - did something similar on a 32' Aluminum extension ladder... love that price matching...
