I'm glad your mower is working so well for you. I went on and bought the T-1000 (16 hp Kohler, 2 blades) and just tried it today (it came Tuesday) I got the service contract (and the Sears here is excellent in fulfilling that agreement which is one of the things that took me to Sears - my neighbor has had one of those contracts for 4 years). I was really pleased with how well it worked today. It was so smooth riding, the engine sounded smooth, not obnoxiously loud, the steering was really unexpectedly easy.
Thanks for the information you provided.
