My dad has an MTD lawn mower. You turn the key with the brake fully depressed and nothing happens no noise, nothing. If you pull back just ever so slightly on the deck engage lever (very slightly) the engine cranks. Is there a safety switch somewhere that is out of wack? Is there a simple fix for this? seems like there should be.
thanks,
Randy
