I just bought a 21HP LT3000 Craftsman. It was shipped last night. I bought this particular model because it was the only LT3000 for less than $2k. It has the Kohler, 2-cylinder engine. The reason I bring this up is because I owned a Craftsman 14HP tractor with a B&S Vanguard 2-cylinder which I used for 5 summers with no problems. It also had the pressurized oil system with the filter, which I recommend.
I'll write again after I've made a few passes with the Kohler engine.
One thing I did notice when I inspected it upon arrival. It doesn't have the hour meter feature but it's been pre-wired and they just left the wires dangling next to the battery. That didn't impress me.
