We are looking at craftsman riding tractors.
The options seem to be Briggs and St engine with splah lubrication and no real oil filter vs. Kohler engine with pressurized lubrication and a true oil-filter. So, the choice is an easy one, right? The Kohler is much, much better? Or, is there no appreciable difference?
The other question that I have concerns the cutting deck. Sears talks of a one piece ventilated cutting deck. Any comments on those?
Or, any other feedback positive or negative on the lower to middle end Craftsman lawn tractors.
Thank you. I don't have the best of luck with lawmowers and am ready to just go back to the $150 push type even though I have a lot of ground to cover - at least the one like that I had would run.
