When we took mower out this year it would not move when in gear (14.5 hp briggs & stratton, 42" 7 speed automatic) and the drive belts seemed loose - belt wheels would turn but belts would not. DSO replaced belts and belts would turn but mower still wouldn't move - he is sure belts are in correctly. He turned mower up on left wheels to look underneath & there was a loud clunk. Now brake/clutch/whatever pedal is approx. 6" higher (toward rear of mower) than it was and mower blades turn slightly even when lever is disengaged. However, now if you push the pedal down some mower will move slowly. Help! What did we do & how do we fix it? The grass is getting very long. Trying to get it hand mowed today before rain hits, but need this fixed. Thanks!
