If you mean by eng not starting & same is being cranked by starter motor but won't fire/run check flywheel key,same may be Z bent/sheared due to stopping eng suddenly with a load on it & ign timing now out of wack.
If shaft key intact then check all safety sw's on tractor especially safety sw for mower deck if a manual engage deck(not elect pto)you may have bent deck hangers,sprung/bent deck or caused some other damage & safety sw for deck not being actuated by deck arm for sw.
Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson,you ALWAYS WALK a yard before mowing.
