If it is the twin flathead engine, on the left
side on the bottom of the carb there is a
plug that takes a 5/8 wrench. Remove it and fuel
should dribble out. Inside the hole is a jet that
is removed with an allen wrench, remove it and
clean it. See if this helps. Some models may
have a solenoid instead of the plug. Older models
had a high speed mixture screw instead of the plug
Try that and let us know what happens.
