If you mean starter cranks eng,but eng won't fire/run,remove spark plug,have someone sit on tractor & crank eng,check for spark at plug,if no spark,locate & disconnect ign kill lead at eng,crank eng,if you have spark now,then problem in ign sw,safety sw's & any relays behind dash(if tractor has)associated with safety sw's,damage to wiring harness on tractor or fuel shutoff sol on carb,if no spark with kill lead disconnected,then problem on eng,bad ign module,wiring on eng or a bad oil pressure sw if eng has.
