: I was given a Wards Hydrostatic 15 lawn tractor and it has water in the transmision. I pulled the filter fram ph43 and drained about a pint of fluid, How do I drain the rest and how do I fill it and with what can I fill it with? will transdraulic fluid work? The model # GIL33148A It has power lift for the deck,It leaks fluid. What is the HP 15? It looks to be pretty old but started and drove after sitting for many years.
I don' know on this tractor but many you really could not change the fluid. They where like a auto trans in a car only drined what was in the pan and changed the filter never could get what was in the converter or upin the body with out a pump. So you may have to change this a couple of times until the fluid is good.
