In Reply to: Is there a trick to getting head bolts out??? posted by Garry on Wednesday, March 13, 2002:
: I have a 16 HP B&S which needs rebuilding and I want to ensure that I don't snap the head bolts off when I disassemble the beast. Is there any tricks to getting these out intact? Someone told me to tap them with a hammer before talking them out. Someone else told me to use an impact wrench while another told me not to use the imapct wrench.
: Any suggestions??
Most of the time they come out easy but be carefull when putting in, they break easy when they or if they bottom out.
