universal co-op was/is most likely an outlet vs being a mfgr of that machine. Suspect that MTD was the mfgr.
Look for a I D plate on the machine - possibly in the cavity under the tilting saet - get the full mfgr's model # and serial #.
Go to MTD's website, then navigate to their parts/manuals area - enter the numbers - and mebbe get a manual and/or parts list.
