Hello everyone,

I have an MTD tractor that I use all year round for my lawn and snow. About two weeks ago, it stopped going forward and reverse. Iooked underneath and found broken springs and the drive belt had come off the pulley.

I got a replacement spring and reassembled the pulley and she was happy again. A couple of days ago, I was backing up the tractor when I heard something pop under the seat where the transmission is. Since then, it won't go forward again. It will reverse, stay in neutral, but no forward motion. Forward is working like neutral. Any ideas? Is my transmission blown?
