I have an old (approx. 20 yrs.) Tecumseh 10 hp engine previously used on a Craftsman snow blower. I have replaced the engine on the blower and started looking at the old engine to see if I could fix it. Got to checking and found that the spark was intermittent and decided to look a little further. Got engine to fire a few times using pull start but nothing has changed other than I have no spark at all now. Decided to try a new set of points and condenser, but still no luck. Was wondering if anyone has a good step by step procedure for checking out coil and other related components in ignition to pinpoint a grounded component or part, Any help would be appreciated.
