Briggs engines do not have a lifetime warranty
on their ignitions. A decade or so ago, they did
sell I/C engines with a lifetime warranty but not
any more that I know of. To get warranty the
engine's model, type and code numbers would have
to fall within the dates, etc. But for the most
part they do not have a lifetime warranty.
