I need advice getting the blade off this thing.
Its a Craftsman 242-27006.
The engine is 143 236082. I learned from an
earlier post that this is a Tecumseh V60-70257H.
Its a vertical shaft motor spinning a stack of
three blades. There's a small 3/8 diameter bolt
that comes out easily ... here's where I get
stuck. There's a 1-5/8 hex head on the blade
assembly. Is this for turning the blade or is it
another bolt? left hand or right hand? I've tried
both ways and tried a puller. Nothing budges.
