I have a Craftsman 20hp 42" lawn tractor that won't start. I can put starting fluid in the breather and it will start up, but will shut off when it has burnt it off. It was fine when I garaged it over the winter. I put new gas in it and it still does the same thing. Won't even try to start unless you put starting fluid or gas in the breather. The model number is 917.272911 and the engine is a Briggs.
