Have you had any other issues with your mower since you replaced the fuel pump? The reason I ask is that I have the same issue with my JD X475. I replaced the fuel pump and still have the issue. I have had the issue for quite some time. I run the tractor until it gets warm, maybe 30 t0 45 minutes. The warmer the day, the sooner it happens. When it does cut out and run poorly, I hit the choke and it picks up for maybe a minute or so. When I am on uneven ground like a hill, it is worse. I also tried leaving the gas cap off to see about getting more air and that did not help. When it is in this condition I let it cool down. When I turn it off it backfires. I let it set a while and then it works again until it gets warm. Any information/suggestions you have would be appreciated.
