Try installing 2 new plugs,if you haven't done so already,also check plug lead on cyl that isn't firing with an ohmmeter,you might just have a bad lead,been 30 yrs or more since I worked on one of these eng,if I remember correctly both plugs fire together,also something sticks in the back of my mind about a timing mark on flywheel/block & timing changed by adj points with eng running & a timing lite connected to eng,you might want to goto ebay & search item# 180434120557,this is a service/repair manual cd for onan b43/48 eng,you might be ahead of the game getting,althought a little pricey,as you may have other problems with eng.
