While cutting my lawn my sears dyt 4000 w/kohler 25hp and hydrostatic trans tractor just quit. The engine just coughed a few times,back fired and then just stopped. Now it won't even turn over. I removed the battary, charged it and it still won't turn over. Won't even click. Now in addition to the above symtoms the tansmission will not disengage. I pull and latch the engage/disengage lever at the back of the tractor and it has no effect. I now can't even roll the tractor since the wheels are locked up. Don't know if the two problems are related.
Any trouble shooting suggestions would be appreciated.
