I recently found a site on the web that's selling MTD 40" single stage snowthrowers for $150; I figure at that price I can't go wrong; downside is fabricating the attachment to my tractor.
My question lies with how well single stage throwers work. I don't think my 13hp Toro HXL tractor will be an issue, as the MTD unit is belt driven, and I would be moving very slow anyway.
Any insight or advice would be appreciated...shoot me an email if you want info on the MTD unit.
