Check for dirt in float needle seat,sticking float,float level(you'll have to remove & disassemble carb to check these things),check oil dipstick,if oil over full or oil on stick smells of gas,drain oil & refill with fresh oil AFTER locating/repairing flooding problem in carb,if carb float valve leaking & flooding eng,gas is probably draining into crankcase also,diluteing oil & raiseing level.
