My LT 1000 18 hp lawn Tractor was hard starting, when it finally started, ran rough and blew very large cloud of smoke could not rev up engine or it would die. when running it still ran rough and emmitted a smaller amt. of smoke. Could this be a timing problem with a broken pin on crankshaft that aligns flywheel to it? This tractor has a Briggs/Stratton engine. Tractor is 2-3 yrs old. I would appreciate any advice on the problem. Thank You!
