Working back & forth with a guy on another forum on a scotts 1642 tractor with an elect starting problem,Question-Am I correct in assumeing scotts were built by jd(or the other way around)and is there a site online I can view/print a wiring diag for same?The guy I'm working with has a little elect knowledge,but only has a 12v test light(Ive already suggested he get a vom or continuity tester)working with him is a slow process(nite/nite)on different test's to do,cured his ign problem,but getting starter motor circuit to work is the big problem now & I'm just winging it right now,asked him if he had owner's manual with wiring diag in same,but haven't received answer on that yet.
