I have a 13 hp Craftsman lawn tractor. I've never had trouble starting it until last week. When I turn the ignition I could hear and see the starter
turning hard and the engine turning very slowly.
The battery is good so there is plenty of juice.
Yesterday I tried starting again, the engine cranked a few times and then there was nothing. The the battery and fuse checked out ok. I bypassed the egnition switch and jumped the starter which would engage and crank. What's up?
