If eng has a fuel pump,try repaceing fuel line between pump & tank,hose may be breaking down internally,possibly from heat/age or additives in gas,pump suction may be causeing hose to collapse,especially if there's a filter screen inside tank on outlet,may be plugged with dirt.Where does fuel line exit tank-top or bottom?
