Need Help
Just recently was given a tractor from my in-laws that were sitting outside under a tarp for about five years untouched.
I got it and cleaned all the filters and gas tank and bought a battery. To my amazement it started right up.
I cut the lawn twice with it and it ran fine until the other day.
I turned the tractor off and when I went to restart it, and it just clicked. And If I hold the key in it just “clicks” but wouldn’t turn over. So I attempted to manually rotate the (crank?) thing on the top of the motor (mesh looking thing) that normally spins when the tractor is running and it would only rotate half way around and then it felt like it was hitting something. I’ve been looking around to see if it’s hitting anything but it’s not.
Is the motor seized?
