agree on using a ratchet strap and yeah, rule of thumb sez smaller tire dia = more difficult dismount/mount.
No, can't say I've used the northern tool example. Back then all I could afford wus push mowers with hard rubber wheels...
But, Northern carries decent stuff - may well be worth yer trouble to get, use and then resell.
