Got a S1742 Scotts Lawn Tractor that absolutely will not start. The battery is new and fully charged according to the meter. I have replaced the starter solenoid as I couldn't get any reading when jumping the two main posts. And only a faint signal through the tab connectors. Even after this it will not start or even make a noise. The starter seems to work fine as we pulled it off and tested it with a direct conection. It seemed to have no problem kicking out or retracting. It also spins freely by hand with no noticable sticking points. The relay and the fuse also appear to check out ok. The contact in the relay actuates when current is applied. So, I am at a loss with out a wiring digram for the ignition switch so I know which wire is which. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
