I am thinking of purchasing this lawn tractor on Jan.5, 2002; concerned, because it does not have a cast iron front axle; should I be? I can buy it for $1121.00; seems like a good buy on a 21hp briggs twin. I live in the country and do not have a perfectly smooth lawn yet, but working on it. Also, is the auto trans model worth an extra $200? Thanks for all comments! Len
