cuppla things:
1) make sure you have the right length/size replacement belts. For your model, 754-0350 is the belt from engine to mower deck snf 754- 0349 is the deck belt driving the 2nd and 3rd spindles.
to view/order belts, go to http://www.buymtdonline.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/FindingYourPart_10101_19502_-1
2) with engine off and belts off, check each spindle to see that it turns easily/freely. Also check the condition of any v-belt pulley for bends/damaged/ bearing turns smooth, etc.
3) if you're not sure how belts are routed/tensioned, you may hafta hunt down a manual or possibly someone else can answer here with that info... .
