Locate sol for starter, have someone sit on tractor & turn ign sw to start, have a 2nd person put hand on sol to confirm sol is source of click,if it is,check that cables connected at 2 large terminals are clean & tight, also cable connection on starter motor,if cables ok,take a jumper cable/heavy cable & jump across both large terminals on sol, starter should spin & crank eng(you can do this with ign sw off & nobody sitting on tractor)if starter doesn't spin try going direct to pos battery terminal & post on starter,if starter spins & cranks eng now problem contacts in sol or cable between sol & starter,if it doesn't spin either way, problem in starter,or starter drive hung-up in flywheel pinion gear(you might have to remove flywheel cover to check this)
