Check for:

Broken/dismounted deck drive belt.

PTO switch inop (if electric type)

Electric PTO damaged or wiring to PTO damaged/dislodged. When attempting to engage, should hear a click as PTO energizes.

Your machine may have an PTO interlock or relay. Check your manual for such details.
