trying to find replacement engine for my 1997 Sears Model #917.258543 w/ a kohler command engine # 41526. I have seen numerous on ebay, but for some reason, sellerss state that theirs won't fit. they look exactly alike. Please help. Does anyone know how to cross-reference to see if engine will fit. Mine keeps blowing head gaskets and i am tired of replacing and i have tons of leaves to deal with in just a few weeks. I love this tractor, but thought the Kohler engines were tougher than i have experienced. I kept it in excellent shape. Thank you for any input.
