Charlie O, Rider 155 has about three contact points which will prevent starting. One in particular is under the transmission cover. Take the cover off, press the forward or reverse pedal and look for the contact switch. You may have to lightly sand between the points. Same happened to me and my dealer showed me where to look. I've had mine 5 yrs so far and would certainly buy another
